Fat Determination Apparatus

The QW-SZF-02A Fat Analyzer is a specialized instrument designed for accurate fat determination in various samples, widely used in food, feed, and agricultural testing laboratories. Its core structure includes a digital-display electric-heated constant-temperature water bath for heating and extraction, solvent condensation and recovery system, and digital-display automatic temperature and time control. The digital-display temperature controller supports real-time adjustment (with an optional timed temperature controller available) to adapt to different solvent boiling points and indoor temperature variations. The condenser can be manually moved up and down independently, and all connections between the condenser, extractor, and extraction flask use ground glass joints for excellent sealing performance.

Working with solvents like anhydrous diethyl ether or petroleum ether, the apparatus extracts fat from samples; the substance remaining after solvent evaporation is defined as fat or crude fat in food analysis. Since this fraction includes not only fat but also pigments, volatile oils, waxes, resins and other substances, the result determined by this extraction method is free fat.

The instrument has a measurement range covering grains, feeds, oilseeds and various fat products with an oil content ranging from 0.5% to 60%, and it can process 2 samples at a time. Powered by AC220V, 50HZ, it features a 350W water bath heating power, with a temperature control range from room temperature +5 to 100℃. With overall dimensions of 380×240×700mm and a net weight of 16KG, it offers stable, reliable performance for routine fat analysis in quality control and research applications.
