Usage Method
1. Plug in the power and turn on the switch. The counting chamber's built-in lamp lights up, with the screen showing "000". Insert the probe pen into the matching jack, press the Reset button to zero, and the instrument is ready.
2. Place the prepared Petri dish into the counting chamber.
3. Gently touch each colony at the dish bottom with the probe pen-each valid touch beeps; re-count if no sound. Counted colonies are visually marked, with the screen reading increasing automatically.
4. Examine the dish carefully with a magnifier to make sure no colonies are omitted, then the counting process is finished.
5. The screen figure is the Petri dish's total colony count.
6. Record the data and remove the dish from the chamber. Press the Reset key once more to revert the colony counterXK97-A display to its original standby state.
