Introduction

The portable ultraviole meter of the ultraviolet analyzer is composed of quartz glass ultraviolet lamp tube and filter. The wavelengths of the two groups of light sources are 254 nm and 365 nm, respectively. The light source can be used in the experiment by filtering the color of the filter, and the two light sources can be used alone or mixed at the same time.

Principle

The ultraviolet analyzer works based on the absorption of ultraviolet light by the substance or the characteristics of fluorescence generated after excitation. Ordinary matter molecules in the ground state will absorb energy and jump to the excited state after being irradiated by ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength. When the excited molecule returns to the ground state, it will release excess energy in the form of emission fluorescence. Due to the different molecular structure of different substances, the wavelength and intensity of fluorescence emission are also different. The instrument performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of the substance by detecting the fluorescence (wavelength, intensity) emitted by the sample or measuring the degree of attenuation of ultraviolet light after passing through the sample (absorbance).

The device consists of 254nm and 365nm UV lamp assemblies with dedicated filter plates. A built-in fluorescent lamp provides illumination for sample positioning on TLC plates. The overall structure is simple, lightweight, and durable, with highly interchangeable parts for easy maintenance and long service life.
