Pre-Use Guidelines for the Device
- Calibration Guidelines: Three-stage calibration must be performed by staff upon initial startup or whenever a brand-new detecting electrode is mounted. Dip the sensor head into calibration reference liquid and pause till constant digital outputs appear. The device's function keys allow adjustment of corresponding standard values to finalize the entire calibration sequence. A seven-day calibration cycle is recommended, and the frequency can be revised to fit on-site operational environments.
- Probe Sanitization: Before conducting any tests, flush the probe with distilled water. This keeps residual particles from lowering detection precision. If the probe is covered with greasy dirt or protein matter, soak it in specialized cleaning liquid, and perform a full rinse afterwards.
Step-by-Step Testing Guide
- Device activation & preheating: Start the instrument by pressing its power switch.
- Placement in test liquid: Lower the sensor straight down into the sample solution. Make sure two-thirds of the probe body is under the liquid surface. Contact with the container base and side walls must be avoided, which could cause contamination and affect the electric field.
- Readout confirmation & documentation: Pause until the figures remain stable, then document the measured data.
- Post-test care & storage: After finishing all tests, flush the probe thoroughly with deionized water. Pat off surface moisture gently using filter paper; never wipe the probe to prevent static electricity issues. Immerse the probe in dedicated storage liquid to protect it from drying and losing normal performance.
