Usage Method
1. Open the back cover and install the battery.
2. Connect the electrode to the BNC socket and turn on the power (press the switch)
3. Clean the electrode with pure water and wipe it dry, put the electrode in PH6.86 solution, stir it and put it stationary to stabilize the display value, and then adjust the positioning regulator (AP) with a small screwdriver to make the display value PH6.86 (25 ℃). Clean the electrode with pure water and wipe it dry, place the electrode in PH 4.00 (or PH9.18) solution, stir it and put it stationary to stabilize the display value, and then adjust the slope regulator (SLOPE) with a small screwdriver to make the display value PH4.00 (or PH9.18).
4. After the calibration is completed, clean the electrode with pure water and wipe it dry.
5. Put the electrode in the solution to be measured, stir it slightly, and then put it at rest to be displayed. The value is stable, that is, the PH value of the solution.
6. After the measurement, put the power switch OFF (release position), remove the electrode, and put on the protective cap.
Precaution
1. After the instrument is calibration with a standard solution, it can be used continuously for one to two weeks, generally depending on the condition of the sample, the performance of the electrode and the number of times of use.
2. The instrument should avoid high humidity environment and corrosive gas, especially for BNC plug and socket.
3. If the displayed value becomes blurred or not displayed. Or when the display value error is large, the battery needs to be replaced.
4. After the standard solution is used up, the standard buffer can be prepared by itself; Take 250 ML distilled water or pure water from a volumetric bottle, pour it into a test cup to fully dissolve the reagent, and then put it into a glass bottle or a polyene bottle for airtight storage at low humidity (5-10℃).
